Introducing our new affiliate membership packages
We are excited to announce our renewed affiliate membership packages for existing and prospective members of the UK Cyber Security Council.
Launched on the 20th of February, we will be offering four different membership options, which provide a wide range benefits and opportunities for businesses and practitioners across the cyber security sector.
Members will be able to choose one of the following packages – Support, Share, Sponsor and Showcase.
Support
Our first package – Support – has been designed to give added benefits to organisations who want to support the Council’s charitable work, whilst seeing value for their membership. Those opting for this package will gain access to the members only area of our website, which includes a calendar of exclusive online events and early access to research and insights produced.
Support package holders will also be able to apply to join working groups or Council committees, advertise vacancies on our jobs page, take part in surveys and consultations to inform UK government policy, and receive discounts for paid events and sponsorship activities.
In addition, members will also benefit from their logo and organisation name being displayed on our members page and receive an Ethical Declaration Badge to showcase their commitment to our Ethical Declaration.
Share
Our Share package enables organisations to share best practice with the wider sector. In addition to everything available to Support package members, Share package members will be able to share the work of their organisations and champion their contribution to the cyber sector through in-person or online events, or through the creation of tailored resources.
This could mean hosting a breakfast briefing, writing a featured blog post on our website, leading the conversation at a roundtable event, or sharing your organisation’s updates in our monthly newsletters.
This package also gives you the opportunity of one sponsored job posting each year, meaning you can highlight the role at the top of our jobs board and see more applications for your sponsored vacancy.
Sponsor
The next available package is our Sponsor package, which includes everything in the Share package, and focuses on interactive sponsorship opportunities, as well as how we can work together to promote your work.
This package offers you the opportunity to request a speaker from the Council at your organisation’s own event. You can also host a roundtable discussion at one of the Council’s key conferences, and have three sponsored jobs postings per year, which will highlight your roles at the top of the jobs page and be promoted to our Chartered professionals.
Showcase
The largest package that we offer is the Showcase option, which offers everything that the previous packages included and more.
Additional benefits for Showcase members will include a personalised engagement plan from us so you can focus your attention on an important audience to you, and receive tailored guidance on the best way to reach them, and the appropriate messaging to do so. We will also spotlight your logo on the homepage of our website to raise further awareness of your organisation as well as giving you access to all of our events for several delegates.
As in other packages, you will receive spotlighted job promotion, and in the Showcase package this will be for 10 roles per year.
Further to this, Showcase members will also receive co-production and promotion of 2 publications in partnership with us, headline sponsorship at a Council conference including a keynote speaking slot, and a dedicated relationship manager for your organisation.
Chartering the Cyber Profession
Through our re-launched membership offering, we are excited to be able to provide a range of options suited to a broad spectrum of organisations.
As an organisation, we want to represent and reflect the views of our members, working with them to help shape the future of the industry and address the key challenges they face as we work to make the UK one of the safest places to live and work online.
Together with our members, we have already made considerable strides - from achieving Royal Charter status to launching our professional standard and pilot schemes with key partners. And as we look to the year ahead, we’re excited to achieve even more with your support.
