Launched in 2007, The Powerlist was established to showcase black role models to young people. It is now regarded as the leading authority on issues of black influence. Now in its 15th year, The Powerlist, in partnership with J.P.Morgan, honours incredible people across a wide range of industries including business, science, technology and the arts.
It is with great pride that we announce that not one, but two leaders of the UK Cyber Security Council have been honoured with a place on The Powerlist 2023.
Professor Simon Hepburn, the Council’s CEO and Dr Claudia Natanson MBE, Chair of the Board of Trustees, take their places in The Powerlist tech category for their dedication to promoting cyber security and commitment to fostering diversity across the industry.
True to the ethos of the The Powerlist, Simon and Claudia are inspirational in encouraging young people from all backgrounds to discover the fulfilling career trajectories available in cyber, earning their places on this esteemed list.
Selected by an independent panel of judges, other well-known names on the list include Stormzy, Idris Elba and broadcaster Charlene White. Joining Simon and Claudia among the new names for 2023 are Misan Harriman and Riki Bleu, Founder and co-President of record label Since ’93.
