Gareth Pritchard - CTO of Sapphire

Gareth is Chief Technology Officer within Sapphire. Gareth has worked in the cyber security industry for over 15 years across public and private sectors. He began his career in the civil service before moving into cyber security solution design and implementation in the commercial cyber security market. Gareth has worked for organisations providing cyber security services, consultancy, technology and advisory to clients in the UK and worldwide across all industries. Gareth is passionate about understanding the cyber threat landscape through threat intelligence to contextualise and prioritise organisational security maturity improvement and provide real-world recommendations to improve the security posture of UK Plc as a whole. Additionally, Gareth is a proponent of increasing diversity within the cybersecurity industry and believes that a part of that can be achieved through community events.
