UK Cyber Security Council
Here at the Council we continue to prepare both to welcome applications for membership and to confirm memberships from September. And, to ensure members know they will be driving progress towards two of the Council’s highest priority objectives from day one, we’ve just announced the formation of two important committees: the Professional Standards & Ethics and Qualifications & Careers committees. These committees will be populated from across the Council’s membership and will begin work in the autumn.
To kickstart the process, the Council has invited the 16 members of the Cyber Security Alliance – the group of organisations originally commissioned by DCMS to set up the Council – to help determine the terms of reference for these committees. And, as a permanent acknowledgement of the contribution they’ve already made to getting the Council off the ground, the Council has offered all 16 members of the Cyber Security Alliance the designation ‘Founding Member’ of the UK Cyber Security Council. Visit this page for a reminder of these organisations.
Membership of the Council is open to any organisation with an interest in promoting, supporting and developing the cyber security profession. Read more here.
