The Chief’s Brief with Simon Hepburn, The UK Cyber Security Council

Following our Skills Festival partnership announcement with SASIG, we’re delighted that the UK Cyber Security Council’s CEO will be joining Martin Smith Chairman & Founder of Security Awareness Special Interest Group (SASIG) for a Chief’s Brief.

Appointed in September 2021, Simon Hepburn is the Council’s first CEO. He is a charity and education executive with over twenty years’ experience in a variety of national and international organisations. He has previously been Chief Executive of a charity, has founded two others, and has held Director roles with a variety of charities, multi-academy trusts and businesses. He was also a Trustee Board member of ACEVO (Association for Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations) and has sat on the BBC Charities Advisory Board.

You will be able to hear more about Simon’s esteemed career and learn about the Council and Simon’s vision for its role and early development. Martin and Simon will also discuss their organisations’ partnership for Cybersecurity Skills Festival 3 on 22 February 2022.

This meeting will be open to everyone including the Press, so The Chatham House Rule will not apply on this occasion.
