Are you a student wondering what comes next after your GCSEs, or already enrolled in A-Levels, T-Levels or BTEC?
Are you a teacher or careers advisor looking to guide your pupils toward an exciting cyber security career?
This free webinar is your chance to dive into the world of cyber security and discover the opportunities waiting for young people.
Join us as we explore different routes into the industry—from apprenticeships to university—and introduce you to CIISec’s CyberEPQ, a qualification designed to bridge the gap between computer science GCSEs and cyber security degrees.
Hear from QA, a leading apprenticeship provider offering a Cyber Security Level 4 programme; a current university student pursuing cyber security; and the team behind the CyberEPQ as they share practical advice, real-world insights, and answers to your questions.
Featuring:
Richard Beck – Director of Cyber at QA
QA is the largest technology training company in the UK, and the leading apprenticeship provider. They offer a range of cyber security education and training including a Level 4 apprenticeship which can follow A-Levels/T-Levels/BTECs.
Richard has over 15 years of operational cyber security experience, including as a CISO, and draws on that depth and breadth of experience as a pioneer in cyber security education. He is passionate about making a difference through technical education that equips individuals from all backgrounds with tomorrow’s digital skills to maximise their potential and succeed in the workplace.
Richard designed the very first UK cyber security apprentice ‘fast track’ programme for the UK government, going on to establish multiple successful cyber apprenticeships programmes, that lead the market today. He designed several leading programmes, including CyberFirst, the National Cybercrime Programme, and Women in Cyber (WiCyS) cloud security auditor.
